Apple pie

INGREDIENTS
  • Cow butter
  • 75 gr. icing sugar
  • 1 tsp. of baking powder
  • 1 vanillin
  • 300 gr. all-purpose flour
  • 5 big apples, preferably green
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

METHOD

 

  1. Whisk OLYMPOS cow milk butter, icing sugar, baking powder, vanillin and flour in a mixer until the dough starts to wind around the wing.
  2. Sprinkle a sheet of parchment paper with flour and spread the dough in it.
  3. Pour a small amount of flour onto the dough and roll it out with a rolling pin until it is slightly larger in size than the springform pan you will need.
  4. Press the springform pan onto the spread out dough and trim the overhanging edges.
  5. Place the dough strips over the springform pan and use a knife to trim the overhanging edges protruding outside the pan’s rim.
  6. Add grated apples, brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  7. Mix well and spread them into the springform pan.
  8. Place the dough strips over the apple filling and bake in a preheated oven at 175 for 45 minutes.
  9. Once completely cool, garnish with icing sugar
