Classic Vanilla cake by Dimitris Michailidi

INGREDIENTS
  • 220 gr. OLYMPOS butter at room temperature
  • 80 gr. sunflower oil
  • 320 gr. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 6 medium eggs
  • 540 gr. all-purpose flour
  • 25 gr. baking powder
  • 240 gr. OLYMPOS cow milk yogurt 2%
  • 120 gr. OLYMPOS Milk of Life 3.7 %

METHOD
  1. In a bowl, put OLYMPOS butter, sunflower oil, sugar, vanilla extract and beat using a mixer, until they get homogenized.
  2. Add the eggs, one at a time and keep on beating.
  3. Add OLYMPOS cow milk yogurt 2% , OLYMPOS Milk of Life 3.7%, all-purpose flour, sifted, the baking powder and mix them.
  4. Spread the mixture in a buttered and floured baking pan of 10×30 cm. or a standard round cake pan and bake in a pre-heat oven, fan-assisted at 180 degrees for approximately 45’-55’.
  5. Let the cake cool down completely, remove from the pan and sprinkle with icing sugar.
