INGREDIENTS
  • 230 gr. OLYMPOS butter in room temperature
  • 100 gr. sugar
  • 390 gr. all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. ginger powder
  • 1 orange zest
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp. salt

METHOD
  1. In the mixer bin, beat the butter, sugar and vanilla extract until they become a velvety cream.
  2. Add the flour, ginger, orange zest and salt and stir until all the ingredients are homogenized with the cream.
  3. Remove the dough from the pan and knead it with your hands until it stiffens.
  4. Open the dough to a thickness of less than one centimeter.
  5. Cut stars with a cookie cutter and place them on non-stick paper and bake them at 170° C for about 15′ (until they brown).
  6. When they cool down, “build” the Christmas tree by creating layers of biscuits (from the largest to the smallest) and sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
