Chicken pie with OLYMPOS heavy cream & traditional cheese

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil (20 gr.)
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 tbsp. sweet paprika
  • 1 tbsp. curry
  • 1/2 tbsp. nutmeg
  • 700 gr. boiled chicken without bones
  • 250 gr. white agaricus mushrooms
  • 130 gr. White wine
  • 300 gr. OLYMPOS heavy cream 35%
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1/4 bunch of parsley, finely chopped
  • 300 gr. OLYMPOS traditional cheese, grated
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 700 gr. traditional pastry
  • 100 gr. olive oil for leaf sprinkle
  • 700 gr. traditional pastry (1 pack)
  • sesame seeds for sprinkle

METHOD
  1. Put a non-stick pan at high heat.
  2. Chop the onion into small pieces and add it in the pan together with 2 tbsp. olive oil.
  3. Chop the carrot into small pieces and put it into the pan.
  4. Cut all the peppers into small pieces and put them into the pan.
  5. Stir with a wooden ladle.
  6. Then add the paprika, the curry and the nutmeg.
  7. Put the chicken without the bones.
  8. Slice the mushrooms, put them in the pan and leave them for 10 minutes until all the vegetables are smooth.
  9. Add the wine and leave for 3-4 minutes until the alcohol evaporates.
  10. Finally, add the heavy cream and wait for 2 minutes until it congeals and then remove the frying pan from the stove.
  11. After removing it from the stove add the eggs, the parsley, pepper, salt and the grated cheese.
  12. Stir with the wooden ladle and leave aside.
  13. Preheat the oven to 180° C in fan mode.
  14. Spread plenty olive oil in a 32cm round baking pan.
  15. Share the pastries (5 pastries down – 5 pastries above).
  16. Place the pastries one by one on the baking pan and spread plenty olive oil between each pastry.
  17. Put the filling in the baking pan over the pastries.
  18. Cover with the rest of the pastries, spreading again olive oil between them.
  19. Turn the edges of the leaves inwards to make the edge of the pie.
  20. Snick 8 pieces, sprinkle with sesame and bake for 50 minutes in the oven.
  21. Once cooked, remove from the oven, cut into pieces and serve.
