Shrimp with mushrooms

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • ½ green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 twig of fresh thyme
  • 1 dried laurel leaf
  • 300 gr. mushrooms, cut in slices
  • 1 kg. shrimps, peeled
  • 250 ml. OLYMPOS cream 20%
  • ½ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • Juice from ½ lemon
  • Parsley, finely chopped

METHOD
  1. Heat the olive oil over low heat and sauté the onion, garlic and pepper.
  2. Add thyme, laurel, salt, cayenne pepper and mushrooms, and continue sautéing until they become soft.
  3. Add the shrimps and stir gently for 2’.
  4. Pour the lemon juice over the shrimps and add cream. Let simmer for about 20 minutes until the sauce becomes
    thick.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
