Sweet dessert with rice and almond drink

INGREDIENTS
  • 150 ml. water
  • 80 gr. glacé rice
  • 650 ml. OLYMPOS sugar-free almond drink
  • 50 gr. sugar
  • 1 full tbsp. corn flour
  • Peel from ½ orange
  • 1 vanilla, cut lengthwise
  • A dash of cinnamon for garnish

METHOD
  1. Heat the water in a cooking pot over medium heat and once it starts to boil, add rice and let cook until the water evaporates.
  2. Add 600 ml of almond drink, sugar, vanilla and orange peel, stir gently and continue to cook until the rice is ready.
  3. Dissolve the corn flour in the remaining 50 ml of the almond drink in a small bowl, and add to the pot with rice, whisking until the mixture becomes thick.
  4. Remove orange peels and the vanilla stick.
  5. Serve in bowls, sprinkling with a little cinnamon on top.
