Greek Tzatziki sauce and Tirokafteri (Spicy Feta Cheese Dip)

INGREDIENTS

GREEK TZATZIKI SAUCE

  • 400 gr.  Strained yogurt 2% fat (2 small containers)
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Pepper
  • Dill

METHOD

GREEK TZATZIKI SAUCE

  1. Grate 1 large cucumber using the coarse side of a grater and place it in a bowl.
  2. Add salt and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, mix the Strained yogurt 2% fat, garlic, white vinegar, pepper, and mix well.
  4. Strain the cucumber very well and add it to the bowl.
  5. Finely chop the dill, add it to the bowl, and mix.
  6. Add extra salt if needed.

TIROKAFTERI (SPICY FETA CHEESE DIP)

  1. 400 gr. Feta Cheese PDO
  2. 200 gr. Strained yogurt 2% fat (1 small container)
  3. 30 gr. olive oil (3 tbsp)
  4. 1 green chili pepper
  5. Pepper
